Sorry to say this, but get ready to get sick...

US health officials say up to 40 percent of us will become ill with swine flu over the next two years and several hundred thousand could die as a result.  That's double the number who typically get sick in a normal flu season, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

The death toll from swine flu in the US will range between 90,000 to several hundred thousand, officials say.  These estimates  could be lower if the vaccine campaign and prevention efforts prove successful.  By October health officials hope to have as many as 160 million doses of swine flu vaccine ready for use.

The swine flu map covers the world.  As many as 2 billion people could become infected over the next two years - that's almost 33 percent of earth's population, according to the World Health Organization.
