August 6, 2011Paparazzi photos show throat cancer survivor and actor Michael Douglas smoking a cigarette while vacationing on a yacht with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones off the coast of Porto Venere, Italy on July 21.Photos of Douglas smoking are featured on the cover and inside Star magazine.Douglas, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his work in the 1987 film "Wall Street," was first diagnosed with a throat tumor last August. He announced that he officially survived throat cancer on TODAY with Matt Lauer in January 2011.During the interview, Douglas expressed his dislike for how the paparazzi spun his recovery. The photos of him sneaking a post-cancer smoke will likely be more troubling to his health than the smoke itself."With the amount of paparazzi that they have and these video cameras, you know, you just can't do anything," Douglas said to Lauer in January. "There was sort of a macabre enjoyment out of sort of watching me go down there for a while, I felt, by the paparazzi."
