Symptoms of menopause can be physical, emotional, and mental. Common physical symptoms of menopause include: hot flashes, flushes, night sweats, trouble sleeping through the night, irregular and shorter periods, and fatigue. Some women experience emotional symptoms such as mood swings, anxiety, and depression, and others produce mental symptoms like short-term memory loss and difficulty thinking straight.
Menopause is a life phase that women will experience for up to 10, and in some cases, even 20 years. Coping with the stress of hormonal changes is different for everyone, but it's important to continue living your life normally while going through menopause. Participating in the same daily activities you've always done can help normalize the transition and can even be used as an opportunity to reach out further and pursue things youve always wanted to do.
