Although most skin cancer cases can be cured if detected early enough, the wost case is possible death. Melanoma is the most dangerous type of skin cancer because it threatens to spread to other organs and parts of the body. When the cancer spreads there is a reduced chance of survival. Follow instructions closely and take preventative measures now to avoid the development of skin cancer. Reapply sun block every few hours and wear protective clothing while out in the sun.

If treatment has been administered and the cancer reappears, take action immediately. The faster you take action, the better chance of survival. Therefore it is very important to check your body frequently for possible growths and to schedule regular check ups with your doctor or dermatologist.
