Severe allergic reactions can result from vaccines. These problems usually occur as often as the disease for the vaccine, but without the pain and suffering from the disease itself. If you should experience an allergic reaction from a vaccine, contact emergency services immediately.

Most vaccines have minimal side effects, including swelling, itching, redness, soreness at the injection site. Simply waiting a few days or icing the spot can help you recover more quickly from a vaccination.
