As cyber bullying becomes more common, one online community stands up for the survivors. Currently more than 2,250 people have pledged their support to help bullying survivors.

Standing Up for Victims of Bullies (Child or Adult) has created a social network page on Facebook to unite people in support of survivors.

"Together we must make a stand to stop bullying," encourages the Standing Up for Victims of Bullies webpage. "We must be Pro-active, and not reactive.

"Too many people have committed suicide and this needs to be stopped now. Please join us in this important fight."

Maya Angelou and ABC: Anti-Bullying Coalition are among the thousands of supporters who have joined the fight to help people survive bullying.

The Facebook page keeps users active with opportunities to engage in the positive online community, and the page also updates users on news dealing with bullying.
