Hold your breath for this story....

Mark Afforde, a 49-year-old bungee jumper, survived after his cord snapped and dropped him into Canyon Creek in southwest Washington this week.

Afforde remained conscious and was able to get out of the whitewater.  He was taken to Southwest Washington Medical Center.

The incident occurred on Afforde's second jump of the day off a 20-story bridge.  As he rebounded upward, the cord snapped and he plummeted 25 feet into the water.
