December 2, 2011Years before Angelina Jolie became a mother of six children and met Brad Pitt, she didn't just live her life on the edge, she had one foot off."I went through heavy darker times and I survived them," the Oscar winner said in an interview with 60 Minutes. "I didn't die young, so I'm very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn't survive certain things."Although Angelina Jolie didn't want to go into details about the "certain things" that she had survived as a younger woman and aspiring actress, she said, "I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst and for many reasons I shouldn't be here."Jolie believes that her adventurous and sometimes dangerous spirit has survived her grounding relationship with Brad Pitt and their six children."You think of those too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too far," she said. "I'm still a bad girl. I still have that side of me...It's just in its place now...it belongs to Brad. Or...our adventures."Angelina Jolie Visits Pakistan to Aid Flood SurvivorsCelebrity Scandals and the Famous Faces Who Survived
